Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Monroe, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule. Pay starts at $29.50 per hour, with $33.00 after 6 months and a $1 shift differential for night hours.

You will oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility, and maintenance issues within the facility. Qualifications include 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a food processing plant, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

2-3 years maintenance experience in a food processing plant.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Desire to learn and show initiative.
Able to pass forklift certification.
Able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Monitor pressures and flow rates of equipment.
Monitor boiler performance, water and air quality.
Maintain PM logs.
General facility maintenance including welding, sanitary and structural tasks.
Troubleshoot production equipment.
Inform management of potential issues.
Maintain sanitation log records and timeliness.
Operate forklift as certified.
Follow all safety procedures (LOTO, PRCS).
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors on facility projects.
