Job summary

Echo Lake Foods, a leading manufacturer of ready-to-eat egg products, is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician in Burlington, WI. Work hours are 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule; you will diagnose, repair, and maintain high-speed manufacturing equipment across conveyors, motors, and facility systems.

Candidates need at least 2 years in industrial maintenance, experience with AC/DC motors and VFDs, ability to read diagrams and blueprints, and strong communication and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the industrial maintenance field, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Experience working with AC/DC motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturing specifications.
• Knowledge of piping systems and mechanical components.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to operate drilling and milling machines to produce or retool mechanical parts.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently, including conveyor systems, hydraulic sorting equipment, motors, electrical systems, and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery and equipment.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair documentation and logs.
• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Company safety policies and procedures.
