Job summary

SBM Offshore currently seeks a Utility Tech to perform routine maintenance and preventative care across varied work environments. You will keep a clean, safe workspace and adhere to all safety rules while assisting with basic repairs on fleet vehicles and production equipment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma/GED, up to six months of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with clean MVR; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clear MVR.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Completed safety and task training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Follow posted safety standards and wear PPE when necessary.
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles, troubleshoot power tools or replace a broken component on a production machine.
• Inspect work process to ensure all projects turn out correctly.
• Take direction and respond to supervision in a team environment.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• May utilize Boom Lift/Highlift to complete tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education
