Job summary

TemperPack is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift at our Las Vegas, NV plant. You will ensure production assets are fully utilized, perform routine maintenance on extrusion equipment, and document logs of failures and repairs.

You will work with the Maintenance Manager to schedule downtime, uphold safety rules, and support the team in reducing downtime while maintaining compliance with OSHA standards and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Experience with extrusion or lamination machines or similar manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA lock-out/tag-out, confined spaces and MSDS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machine logs recording errors, repairs, and settings.
• Lead preventative and routine mechanical maintenance on extrusion equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs including gearboxes, pumps and alignment tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist with downtime planning with Maintenance Manager.
• Oversee development of junior mechanics and ensure safe work practices.
