Job summary

Conagra Brands in Kent, WA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of production equipment. Shift is 9:30 PM–6:00 AM, with a $35 base hourly rate plus a $1 shift differential.

You will collaborate with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, efficient facility. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems, repairs, and assisting with installation of new equipment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with preventative maintenance systems and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify root causes.
Repair or replace defective equipment components to restore functionality.
Support installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
Partner with production teams to respond quickly to equipment issues.
Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
