Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Associate (Mechanical-Electrical Technician) for a 24/7 facility in Sidney, OH. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems; includes fabrication and repair of piping and steam equipment, and parts planning with an on-site machine shop.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Electrical & Automation: Working knowledge of electrical systems, high-voltage troubleshooting, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Mechanical & Fluid Power: Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical repair, pipe fitting, and industrial plumbing.
• Technical Basics: Ability to read prints and use basic hand tools and an electrical meter.
• Physical & Environmental Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, crawl, bend, and twist in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Ability to distinguish colors, correctable eyesight, and correctable hearing.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs), predictive maintenance, and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical (including high-voltage), hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Install, fabricate, and repair industrial plumbing, pipe systems, and steam heating equipment.
• Plan, fabricate, and machine replacement parts using onsite machine shop tools and equipment.
• Enter and manage work orders using a mobile tablet CMMS system.
• Log accurate data, maintain daily shift briefs, and support smooth shift changeovers.
• Identify required replacement parts, order supplies through MRO/purchasing, and manage parts inventory.
• Perform basic facilities maintenance and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
