Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment reliable in a high-volume automotive plastics environment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, repair downtime, and uphold safety standards across the South Grand Rapids, MI campus. This 3rd shift runs 11 PM to 7 AM Sunday night through Friday morning, with pay of $32–$33 per hour and benefits.

Competenze

• 3+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronics.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, automotive preferred.
• Proficient with Keyence SR scanners and vision sensors troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of 24VDC sensors and various Keyence sensors.
• Injection molding experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns.
• Repair machines quickly and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and work order service on machines.
• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts to ensure performance.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Install replacement parts for machines.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and maintain shop areas, tools, and supplies.
• May assist with new equipment being added or old equipment removed.
• Perform building and ground duties, including basic plumbing and snow removal.
• Follow organization standards.
