Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to mid-size buildings and industrial systems. The role supports preventive maintenance, repairs and energy management under close supervision, ensuring safe and efficient operation of building equipment.

The successful candidate will perform routine inspections, diagnose issues, and assist with installation/modification of systems while following defined procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow standard work routines and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose problems.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring efficient operation of building systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Use documented procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
