Job summary
East Jordan Plastics in Lyons, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production across recycling, injection molding, and thermoforming equipment. This role focuses on tooling changeovers, process setup, electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safety to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, hands-on skills with PLCs and servo drives, and knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on with PLCs, servo drives, electrical prints/diagrams.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems; experience with injection molding, sheet extrusion, thermoforming, or die trimming preferred.
- NFPA 70E knowledge with a strong commitment to safe work practices.
- Team-oriented approach with fabrication, plumbing, rigging, or related mechanical skills valued.
Responsibilities
- Complete production tooling changeovers and establish processes using approved master settings.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical, PLC, servo drive, remote I/O, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment installations, controls/panel wiring, and continuous-improvement projects.
- Follow all company safety procedures and NFPA 70E electrical safe-work practices.
