Job summary

Volt is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Riverside, CA facility. The role supports a night shift with a focus on safety, organization, and ownership of the workspace. Responsibilities include following safety rules, PPE usage, housekeeping, and timely reporting of issues.

Applicants must pass a 7-year background and drug screen. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and benefits; training and scheduling details are provided in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a 7-year background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow all facility safety rules and procedures, and immediately report unsafe conditions or hazards
• Wear required PPE at all times
• Keep walkways, exits, and work areas clear
• Clean up after all repairs and maintenance activities, and dispose of waste in proper containers
• Pick up trash, debris, loose wrap, and damaged materials whenever you see them
• Follow 5S standards: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain
• Identify and report equipment issues before they become failures
• Maintain the maintenance shop, PM carts, toolboxes, and parts storage areas in clean condition
• Return tools to their proper locations after use
• Communicate with leadership when delays occur
• Support team members when assistance is needed
