Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM, M-F) to repair and maintain building systems, machinery, and equipment. The role involves diagnosing issues, replacing defective parts, lubrication, and routine preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical and plumbing knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Welding and pipe experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and diagnose issues in mechanical devices.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts.
• Inspect parts for dimensional changes and wear.
• Repair or replace defective parts and lubricate.
• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing and electrical work.
• Initiate material order requests for parts.
• Test devices by running them post-repair.
