Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain manufacturing machinery and facilities equipment on-site. You will repair automated controls, interpret schematics, and perform major electrical and mechanical repairs across multiple brands and systems.

You will diagnose root causes, implement preventive actions, and communicate progress via the work order system, coordinating with outside service providers when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Maintenance Technology degree preferred.
• Experience with industrial machinery preferred.
• 3+ years in maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical skills and basic electrical skills.
• Understanding of schematics/blueprints and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing machinery and facilities equipment.
• Repair automated machine controls and related systems.
• Perform major electrical, mechanical, and construction repairs.
• Troubleshoot drive-related issues to component level for multiple controllers.
• Communicate status through work order system; arrange external services when needed.
