Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.

The role supports safety, productivity, and quality goals across the plant with a focus on reliability and efficiency. You will diagnose equipment issues, disassemble and repair components, and verify repairs on a range of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, while adhering to SOPs, GMPs, 5S, and

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing is required.
• Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience is required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with computerized maintenance planning/ERP platforms (SAP a plus).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems from test results, error messages, and operator input.
• Clean, lubricate, adjust, disassemble, repair and reassemble machinery as needed.
• Operate and test repaired equipment to verify repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to production needs on the floor.
• Enter maintenance data into SAP or other MIS/ERP systems for record-keeping.
