Job summary
Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a fast-paced dairy manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include analyzing machine failures, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems. You will work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, read schematics, and use calibration tools to verify repairs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience.
- Ability to utilize computer-based maintenance planning/PM ERP platforms; SAP a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong electrical background with knowledge of schematics.
Responsibilities
- Analyze test results and machine errors to diagnose problems.
- Clean, lubricate, adjust, and repair parts and machinery.
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery; replace worn components.
- Inspect parts for defects and test operation after repairs.
- Operate and support industrial, refrigeration, boiler, and utility operations.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document activities.
