Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, ensuring safety and GMP/5S compliance.

You will diagnose problems, disassemble and repair machinery, test operations, and perform preventative maintenance while documenting work in SAP. Ammonia refrigeration and boiler experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Industrial ammonia refrigeration, boiler and utility experience a plus.
• Ability to use SAP PM/ERP platforms for maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems from test results and operator input.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and machinery.
• Disassemble and repair machinery; replace worn components.
• Inspect parts for defects; test operation with meters and tools.
• Operate and support refrigeration, boiler and utility systems.
• Program and operate computer controlled machinery.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to production needs.
• Document maintenance records in SAP or MIS/ERP system.
• Follow SOPs, safety regulations, and Saputo values.
• Collaborate with team and other departments; perform other duties as assigned.
