Job summary

Lake Country Dairy is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep our 24/7 cheese plant running safely and efficiently in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. The role focuses on electrical work, welding, pneumatics, pumps, motors, HVAC, wastewater controls and other critical systems.

You will work night shifts (6 PM–6 AM) on a 3-4 day workweek with competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and a strong emphasis on root-cause problem solving. PLC knowledge is a plus and training is provided.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical work, welding, pneumatics and pumps in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to work independently with strong time management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across Lake Country Dairy's 24/7 cheese plant.
• Address electrical, welding, pneumatics, pump repair, HVAC, wastewater controls and computerized systems.
• Troubleshoot motors and high pressure steam systems; support root cause analysis.
• Assist in maintaining safety standards and quality controls.

We are hiring a maintenance technician to join our team!

Shift hours: 6PM-6AM. - FT Work in just 3-4 days per week!

Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

Perform maintenance technician work throughout our 24/7 cheese manufacturing plant. Maintenance tasks include electrical work, welding, equipment repair, pneumatics, pump repair, motor troubleshooting, advanced mechanics, waste water controls, computerized operating systems, HVAC and high pressure steam systems.

PLC knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

2-5 years maintenance experience. Manufacturing industry experience required. Food industry experience preferred.. Must be able to work independently with strong time management and prioritization skills. Good communication and a strong sense of urgency to resolve problems required. We are seeking someone who will drive root cause solutions and has a focus on performing quality work.
