Job summary

Amcor is hiring for a night-shift maintenance role to support production equip­ment on an 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM schedule. The technician will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical components to keep lines running and safe.

Duties include logging parts, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with emergency repairs as needed. Qualified candidates will have experience with electrical and mechanical systems, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to work a night shift in

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production equipment on night shifts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components per manufacturer instructions.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and housekeeping requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspects production equipment to determine repairs and estimates time.
• Troubleshoots, installs, and replaces electrical components including motors, transformers, breakers, lights, and related parts.
• Troubleshoots and replaces mechanical components such as bearings, belts, gears, and pulleys.
• Constructs, moves, and sets up plant equipment with safe practices.
• Logs repairs and parts used in the work order system.
• Performs facility maintenance tasks like changing lightbulbs and A/C filters.
• Supports emergency repairs and breakdowns outside regular shifts.
