Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures in Clinton, IL is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to service production equipment, reading blueprints and schematics and using diagnostic tools.

You will diagnose issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, keep records, follow safety rules, and may join safety initiatives. Night hours: 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., with pay 27–33 USD/hr plus a 1.50 USD night shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of Diesel/LPG engines, mobile hydraulics, electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and use testing equipment.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is currently looking to hire a night shift Maintenance Technician for our Clinton, IL plant. As a maintenance technician, you’ll use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. You’ll determine causes of operating problems in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

What You’ll Do:
