Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical education or apprenticeship preferred.
• Level I: 0–2 years of experience preferred; mechanical/electrical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Level II: 3–5 years preferred; ability to independently troubleshoot equipment; read electrical schematics; work with PLC-controlled systems and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment, including motors, pumps and conveyors.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
• Support upgrades, record work in maintenance systems and follow lockout/tagout safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production and experienced maintenance technicians.
