Job summary

Wayne Farms in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems in a large manufacturing environment. This role requires reading blueprints and schematics, basic computer literacy, and strong verbal and written communication.

The shift runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 pm to 5:30 am, with a pay rate of $31.35 per hour and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational certificate in relevant field preferred.
• Ability to take and pass internal testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and service.
• Identify root causes and repair to reduce downtime.
• Record and replace damaged parts as needed.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Maintain shop areas, stock, and tools.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule maintenance.
• Collaborate on new products and required modifications.
• Make modifications and run tests; report results.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead solutions.
• Wear PPE to promote a zero-accident culture.
