Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a night-shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of skilled technicians in our on-site manufacturing facility in Illinois. The role focuses on safe, efficient maintenance across building systems, electrical, welding and mechanical areas, with real-time problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

You will supervise daily activities, coordinate work with operations, and maintain thorough maintenance records while ensuring compliance with OSHA and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be able to supervise and develop a maintenance staff.
• Experience in building or plant maintenance; supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work scheduled shift.
• Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and safety focus.
• Knowledge of OSHA, GMP and plant policies.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages and develops direct staff.
• Assigns and supervises daily work in a safe, efficient manner.
• Reports safety hazards to manager.
• Conducts daily facility inspections and coordinates maintenance.
• Maintains records and prepares reports on maintenance activities.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, GMP and other standards.
• Supports cross-functional teams and responds to emergencies.
• On-call for plant emergencies.
