Heidelberg Materials North America in Irving, TX is seeking a night shift maintenance supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance across plant equipment. You will supervise and develop maintenance staff, plan preventive, predictive, and corrective actions, and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.

Job description

What You\'ll Be Doing

Lead and coordinate night shift maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and plant performance. Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a strong safety-first culture. Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across plant equipment and systems. Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime, troubleshoot issues, and optimize production efficiency. Monitor maintenance performance, resource utilization, and work quality to ensure operational goals are achieved.

What Are We Looking For

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop maintenance teams in a heavy industrial, mining, manufacturing, or aggregates environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and mobile equipment maintenance practices. Proven capability to diagnose equipment issues, prioritize repairs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Effective communication, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Work Environment

Primarily works in an active aggregates production environment with exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, vibration, and heavy equipment. Frequent interaction with mobile equipment, conveyors, crushers, screening plants, and other production systems. May require walking, climbing, lifting, standing for extended periods, and working at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Night shift schedule with occasional additional hours to support operational and maintenance requirements.
