Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southwest Agg LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant machinery at our Texas site. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure safety and efficiency, assist with preventive maintenance, and document equipment conditions for clear communication.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant machinery and equipment

• Complete maintenance documentation and communicate equipment conditions clearly

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the capability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance tools, and shop practices
• Ability to safely follow procedures, instructions, and safety standards
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in an operational environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
• Capability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to visually inspect equipment and read gauges, schematics, and documentation
• Capacity to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
