Heidelberg Materials Southwest Agg LLC in Irving, Texas, is seeking a motivated helper to assist experienced mechanics with inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing quarry equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and other production equipment while learning safe maintenance practices.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist experienced mechanics with inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing quarry equipment and mobile machinery.

Conditions of Employment

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Frequently stand, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and work on uneven terrain.
• Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting throughout the workday.
• Work at varying heights and in confined spaces while following safety procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment requiring manual dexterity and coordination.
• Maintain visual and auditory awareness to safely work around heavy equipment and moving machinery.
