Job summary

Dune House Hotel & Spa in Atlantic Beach, FL is hiring an Overnight Maintenance & Security Technician to keep the property safe and functioning while guests sleep. The role combines basic maintenance with security rounds, ensuring lighting, HVAC, plumbing and building systems operate smoothly through the night.

You will patrol, respond to guest concerns, document daily logs, and escalate issues to the Chief Engineer or on-call team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent trade school.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar position.
• Ability to maintain HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and perform basic repairs.
• Must be able to drive a pickup truck and operate snow removal equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve basic maintenance requests overnight.
• Make rounds of the property to ensure equipment and building systems work properly.
• Log maintenance requests, readings, and parts used; hand off items to the next shift.
• Escalate issues beyond entry-level scope to the Chief Engineer or on-call team.
• Patrol the property and respond to safety concerns with urgency.
