Job summary

A leading flexible packaging company in Mundelein is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and equipment. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience and knowledge of PLC systems, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years maintenance technician experience.
• Knowledge of general maintenance techniques.
• Ability to conduct tests to systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains production machinery and equipment.
• Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintains specified records, logs, and system readings.

Skills

Allen Bradley PLC (ControlLogix, SLC‑500, & PLC5)

Allen Bradley and other variable frequency drives

Servo control systems

Process control & instrumentation (temperature, flow, pressure, level, etc.)

Power distribution – 480 VAC

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to work independently

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance
