Civil Recruit is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for a Clackamas, OR dairy plant. The role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, performing preventative maintenance and rapid repairs on conveyors, chillers, and robots.

You'll support night shift operations and must be open to weekend work and overtime. The position offers conversion to full-time and eventual union participation after conversion.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair required.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, hydraulics and/or pneumatics preferred.
• Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.

Mansioni

• Observe safety policies and maintain good housekeeping, GMP and Global Food Safety practices.
• Identify and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic failures on conveyors, compressors, chillers, controllers and robots.
• Dismantle and reassemble machines to replace parts and perform preventive maintenance.
• Inspect production equipment and implement improvements to decrease downtime and increase efficiency.
• Train others to operate equipment safely and efficiently and maintain spare parts inventory.
