Staffmark is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Chanhassen, MN. This role entails inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production machinery on a 12-hour night shift.

You will read schematics, calibrate systems, perform welds, and repair presses and conveyors to minimise downtime and support safe operations. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, with experience using a range of tools

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex production equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance on production and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production stoppages to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair printing presses, bindery equipment, conveyor systems, folders, die cutters, and inserting machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Align, test, adjust, and calibrate complex machinery and components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment.
• Fabricate or repair replacement parts using welding equipment, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other machine shop equipment.
• Perform machine installations, overhauls, rebuilds, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to production and leadership teams.
