Job summary

ID Logistics US in Somerset, NJ seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform minor building repairs. You will follow GMP and OSHA rules, keep service records, and assist in enforcing safety policies.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, daily inventory, and documenting parts and repairs for traceability. Work schedule is Sunday to Wednesday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, with a $25.00 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Inspect and repair material handling equipment and minor building repairs.
• Follow GMP and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe safety rules and assist in enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection of electrical and power units.
• Detect malfunctions and repair electrical systems and vehicle engines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and corporate policies.
• Maintain records of service cycles and maintenance activities.
• Manage time and complete tasks as directed by supervision.
• Report damages and issues to the supervising manager.
• Place orders for spare/replacement parts and document processes.
• Use and handle electrical repair tools and equipment.
• Perform light building maintenance (bulbs, painting, caulking).
• Conduct daily inventory counts.
• Move equipment between buildings.
• Follow GMP and site-specific practices and enforce safety rules.
