Job summary

Lactalis Heritage Dairy in Tulare, CA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Nights) to lead the maintenance department across shifts and ensure reliable, safe operations. The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance, staff coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering.

You will manage maintenance programs, drive improvements, and support food safety and quality while controlling costs and stock levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Food Industry experience desired.
• Packaging lines and dryer processing experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Owns maintenance programs: preventive, corrective, continuous improvement, predictive, equipment overhauls and upgrades.
• Coaches maintenance planners and leads; monitors PM compliance and prioritizes work for safety and reliability.
• Collaborates with Engineering on capital projects; supports startups and cost justifications.
• Ensures compliance with Environmental Policy and drives initiatives to reduce environmental footprint.
• Keeps maintenance aligned with production quality and safety standards; manages stockroom costs and critical spares.
