Job summary

TruStile Doors is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to lead complex troubleshooting and maintenance across a 24/7 operation. You will mentor junior technicians, drive continuous improvement, and ensure reliability of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities include incident response, root cause analysis, and coordinating with vendors. Candidates should have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical knowledge, and experience with PLCs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with reading schematics, troubleshooting, and documenting repairs.
• Familiarity with basic PLCs and industrial automation (Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Siemens, etc).
• Comfortable with metal fabrication, machine guarding, and shop safety.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays, emergency call-ins, and provide off-hours support as needed to maintain safe and reliable operations
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing systems and delegate tasks to junior technicians.
• Monitor machinery performance to reduce downtime and maximize throughput.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from 24VDC to 480VAC 3-phase systems.
• Follow safety policies, LOTO procedures, and machine guarding standards.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as primary technical resource during off-shift hours with minimal supervision.
• Interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics for maintenance tasks.
• Support facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, boilers, and electrical distribution.
• Maintain production machinery per OEM and plant standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce costs.
