Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Newnan, GA is seeking a Maintenance Helper to support the night-shift Maintenance Technician and production teams. You will perform material-handling duties, assist with basic mechanical tasks, and help keep nightly operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-minded, eager to learn, and comfortable working night shifts. No college degree required; 1+ years in an industrial setting preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a production or industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to follow direction and support a more experienced technician.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working night shift.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Pulling metal and supporting material-handling needs throughout the production floor.
• Assisting the Maintenance Technician with simple mechanical tasks such as holding parts, tools, or a flashlight.
• Performing basic wrench‑turning or mechanical assistance under direction.
• Supporting production teams to ensure timely response to equipment needs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Following direction to assist with minor adjustments or simple tasks when the technician is unavailable.
• Providing flexibility to support both maintenance and production operations.
• Documenting and communicating any irregularities or needs to the maintenance team.
• Learning foundational maintenance concepts through on‑the‑job exposure.
