Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Night Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, inspect electrical components, and support improvement projects while adhering to safety procedures.

The role involves reading schematics, working with PLCs, and prioritizing tasks in a production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment during night shift operations.

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a production environment.

Conditions of Employment

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Frequently stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights while inspecting and repairing plant equipment.
• Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; heavier items may require team lifting or mechanical assistance.
• Ability to use hand tools, testing equipment, and personal protective equipment while maintaining visual focus, manual dexterity, and awareness around energized systems and moving machinery.
