Job summary

Novolex in Mt. Vernon, Ohio is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. The role involves carrying out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties, reading line orders, and setting up machinery.

Starting pay is $25.34 per hour with Nights 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Training on days 7am-7pm for the first month and a 2-2-3 schedule requiring weekend rotation. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience) and at least one year in a

Responsibilities

• Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties.
• Read and verify line orders/dockets.
• Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available.
• Effectively monitor production equipment.
• Complete daily production paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Position will require going up and down permanent ladder structure.
