Job summary

Foster Farms in Fresno, CA is seeking a team member to debone front halves, grade and pack product, and salvage defective cuts. The role operates on a night shift from 1:00am to 9:30am with overtime possible.

You will rotate through all positions on the fillet line and must be able to stand 8–10 hours, use knives or scissors, visually inspect product, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Must be able to use small handheld tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; and lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Rotation into all positions on the fillet line is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knives to debone front halves.
• Product grading and packing—identify and pack product into trays or bulk product codes that meet product specifications.
• Salvaging—utilize salvaging techniques to separate bruised, damaged, mis-cut or diseased chicken/chicken parts.
• Rotation into all positions on the fillet line is required.
