Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Bedford, Ohio is seeking a Night Shift Operator to perform routine machine adjustments and operate packaging equipment from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a rotating schedule. You will follow work orders, load in-process work, adjust controls, and monitor output to ensure quality and production standards are met.

The role requires mechanical, math, and communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read a tape measure.

• Ability to effectively use/read tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues to maintain quality and production targets.
• Follow work orders, samples, and specifications; use hand tools and measuring equipment as required.
• Load in-process work, adjust controls, and ensure proper speed, feed, and tension according to procedures.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring output and recording results, inspecting samples, and documenting deviations.
• Record time and production data on prescribed forms; report defective material or equipment to supervision.
• Adhere to all safety rules, wear PPE, and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
