Sealed Air in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a Setup Person for the Streetsboro Plastics Operations. You will direct, coordinate, and participate in the setup and operation of production machines, ensuring quality and timely production.

The role includes leading the area, training operators, and coordinating with supervisor and other departments to prevent downtime. The position requires experience as an A operator/set up operator, ability to read tape measures, and strong mechanical, math, and

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively use/read tape measure.
• Ability to work from production orders, schedules, artwork, color cards, charts, procedures and instructions.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of Converting operations.
• Demonstrated good performance in current role.
• Strong mechanical, math, and communication, leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience as an A operator / set up operator required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and participate in setup and operation of multiple machines for varied products.
• Provide developmental training for operators and oversee quality in designated area.
• Lead their immediate work area and coordinate with other departments as required.
• Maintain records and ensure proper material handling and uptime.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and create a healthy work environment.
