Job summary

Florida’s Natural Growers in Umatilla, FL is seeking a Nights shift Machine Operator 1/Depalletizer. You will set up, operate, and maintain production equipment, performing in-process quality checks and ensuring safety and efficiency standards on the line.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with manufacturing processes. Lean manufacturing experience and forklift/barcoding knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical training or trade certification is a plus.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is preferred.
• Ability to operate multiple types of machinery and learn quickly.
• Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple types of manufacturing machinery.
• Set up equipment for production runs, including tooling, calibration, and adjustment of machine settings.
• Perform in-process quality checks to ensure product specifications.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs or adjustments.
