Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator II for a client in Gurnee, IL. The role operates across multiple work centers, including injection molding and assembly lines, on a 12-hour schedule (6:45pm–7:00am) with on-site training and potential temp-to-hire.

Responsibilities include monitoring processes, packing parts, inspecting quality, lifting up to 25 pounds, and following GMP/OSHA safety rules. Requires HS diploma and 2–3 years in manufacturing; SAP/Outlook proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing role in a similar environment.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and current work instructions.
• Ability to lift equal to or under 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to read/write English and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Experience with scale, tape gun and pallet jack.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Advanced operator capable of working at any work center and operating equipment.
• Perform duties of Operator positions as assigned.
• Visually monitor molding process, pack parts, and inspect quality and packaging.
• Lift and carry totes, and pack by weight or quantity.
• Stock materials at the machine and manage daily supplies.
• Collaborate with Operator III to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Follow operating policies and procedures, and comply with FDA/OSHA requirements.
• Read and comprehend written instructions and procedures.
• Support safety and quality programs; assist with other duties as needed.
