Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands is seeking a Machine Operator in Gurnee, IL to operate filling lines for liquid products and assist with labeling, packaging, and quality checks. This role emphasizes accuracy, GMP-compliant record keeping, and safe, efficient production.

The position requires ability to read work orders, perform line setups, adjust machinery, and maintain product quality. Forklift operation may be required and on-site work with competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude required.
• Positive attitude toward self and others.
• Proven proficiency on filling and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reference work orders to set up production line.
• Lead setup of filling lines and operate per procedures.
• Make adjustments to settings; perform repairs to meet specs.
• Document activities per GMP using PHRS.
• Ensure bottles on line pass quality checks.
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and fill accuracy.
• Communicate to manufacturing leaders any non-conforming product.
• Ensure correct raw materials are used during runs.
• Complete and report production logs.
