Job summary

Hörmann LLC in Sparta, TN is seeking a Machine Operator ll to set up and run presses, un-coilers, roll-formers and related equipment to produce garage door components. You will ensure product quality, handle stored materials, and prepare rejects for return to vendors; maintain a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent with at least three years of progressive manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and work instructions.
• Forklift and overhead crane certifications required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate presses, un-coilers, roll-formers and related equipment.
• Produce garage door components to prints and required production rates.
• Maintain 6S standards and keep the work area safe and organized.
• Assist in quality training and provide basic machinery troubleshooting.
• Overtime may be required to meet customer demands.
