Job summary

Southwire Company LLC in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a production worker to join our team. The role requires high level knowledge of equipment and processes from start to finish, with willingness to learn new processes and improvements.

You will focus on daily and weekly production goals and act as the first point of contact for problems, supporting operator adherence to SOPs. Safety is paramount as you help maintain clean, organized work areas and participate in preventive maintenance

Qualifications

• Must have high level knowledge of equipment/process from start to finish and willing to learn where development is needed or new processes launched.
• Focused on achieving daily and weekly production goals at the most efficient way possible.
• Will act as the first point of contact when problems arise. Escalate issues to the Production Supervisor if they can’t be solved.
• Ensure Operators are performing tasks in accordance with SOPs
• Lead, and capable of, applicable preventive maintenance activities and unplanned repairs
• Stresses safety at all times
• Ensure work areas are clean and well organized
• Training of Operators where needed

Responsibilities

• Lead production activities and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Support operators to meet daily/weekly production goals.
• Act as first point of contact for issues; escalate when needed.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs as required.
