Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking a production-focused professional to manage front-line equipment and process leadership from start to finish, supporting daily and weekly production goals with efficiency and attention to SOPs.

This role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, training of Operators, and collaboration with the Production Supervisor to escalate issues and keep work areas organized.

Qualifications

• Must have high level knowledge of equipment/process from start to finish.
• Willing to learn where development is needed or new processes launched.
• Lead, and capable of, preventive maintenance activities and unplanned repairs.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily and weekly production goals at the most efficient way possible.
• Act as the first point of contact when problems arise and escalate to the Production Supervisor if they can’t be solved.
• Ensure Operators are performing tasks in accordance with SOPs.
• Lead preventive maintenance activities and unplanned repairs.
• Stresses safety at all times.
• Ensure work areas are clean and well organized.
• Train Operators where needed.
