Job summary

Dayton Superior is seeking a skilled machinist to maintain and operate a variety of machines, including conventional, special purpose, and CNC equipment. You will handle grinders, drills, and presses to produce quality parts.

On-site role in a diverse environment with safety training and documentation duties. HS diploma or GED and 0-2 years of experience are preferred, with a strong eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use safety features and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates machines including resistance welding, brake presses, and power presses.
• Maintains clean and safe work area.
• Packs finished materials and loads/unloads as needed.
• Checks finished workpiece against specifications.
• Completes documentation for process monitors and production tickets.
• Starts/stops machine and troubleshoots basic malfunctions.
