Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and follow manufacturing instructions, including units of measure in English and metric.
• Need strong math to calculate percentages of formula ingredients.
• Acuity of vision to detect flaws in fabric.
• Ability to independently operate required machinery and related equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with operating controls.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow manufacturing instructions and set gauges per specifications.
• Prepare mixtures of PVC pastes to match formula specs and production schedules.
• Operate embossing, braking, inspection, winding, coating and mixing machines.
• Inspect fabric and raw materials for defects and verify correct materials.
• Maintain close observation of processes and report malfunctions or defects.
• Complete and maintain required production reports.
