Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and follow manufacturing instructions in English and Metric.
• Strong math skills to calculate formula ingredients.
• Able to operate required machinery safely.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with operating controls.
• Completed Forbo training programs.
• 1–2 years satisfactory work experience in operating heavy manufacturing equipment.
• Coater experience is a plus.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machinery for operation and set gauges per instructions.
• Prepare PVC paste mixtures per specifications to coordinate with production.
• Operate machinery, change rollers and ensure proper fabric feed and tension.
• Inspect fabric and raw materials for defects and verify material specs.
• Maintain observation of production processes and address malfunctions.
• Complete and maintain required reports.
