Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a night-shift operator to join our Forest City, NC team. You will set up and run a converting bag machine, perform adjustments and maintenance, and train others on basic repairs.

This role requires reading work orders and performing quality inspections to ensure product specifications are met. Ideal candidates bring prior machine maintenance experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to work a 2-2-3 schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have prior machine maintenance experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, bending and walking for long periods.
• Able to work overtime including Saturdays and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a converting bag machine.
• Repair and maintain machinery with supervision as needed.
• Train operators for minor to mid adjustments on machinery.
• Read work orders to ensure correct material use and quality specs.
• Perform periodic quality inspections to meet standards.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on machine upkeep and issues.
• Ensure safe, efficient, high-quality operations on a 12-hour shift.
