Job summary

ProAmpac in Forest City, NC is seeking a dedicated technician to operate and maintain converting bag machines on the 2nd shift. You will read work orders, adjust, repair, and train operators while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have prior machine maintenance experience.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a converting bag machine.
• Adjust, repair, and maintain machinery with maintenance team support.
• Train operators to perform minor adjustments.
• Read work orders to ensure correct material use and quality specs.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure product meets standards.
• Provide feedback on machine upkeep to supervisors.
• Set print and gauge printers.
• Lead by example to maintain safe, efficient, high-quality operations.
• Delegate tasks to team to achieve goals.
• Overtime including Saturdays and holidays may be required.
