Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for full-time night shifts in our Behavioral Health unit. The LVN will assist the RN in delivering care and supporting a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited VN program, current BLS/CPR, CPI training within 30 days, and strong English communication skills. Hospital experience is preferred and bilingual sensitivity is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of vocational nursing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire date.
• Must be able to be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians
• Prefer hospital experience
