Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products and other materials according to instructions.
• Stack finished products according to bundle sizes and customer requirements.
• Label material by type, size, and count.
• Apply tags to material before/after treating/production.
• Operate a staple gun and troubleshoot equipment.
• Band, bundle, and secure material and attach corner protectors and loading sticks.
• Stack material properly per policy and customer requirements.
• Ensure correct quantities are strapped and labeled before leaving the area.
• Maintain inventory of tags and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Record production on production sheets and keep area clean.
• Assist in other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs; perform other duties as required.
